Set on 440 acres, this 18th-centure manor house, Heythrop Park, is located approximately 60 miles from London Heathrow Airport. It's also three miles from Charlbury Station, 10 miles from Blenheim Palace, and 18 miles from Oxford. Originally built in the 18th century by the 12th Earl and only Duke of Shrewsbury, Heythrop was rebuilt and restored in 1869 after a devastating fire in 1831. Today the interior furnishing and decoration of the house incorporates many antique and attractive items of furnishings, porcelain, and glass. The restaurant and bar have panoramic views over Oxfordshire. Leisure facilities include a 20-meter indoor swimming pool, golf, gym, squash, and tennis courts, as well as fishing on site. A full English breakfast is included. All rooms have dataports, direct-dial telephones, and TVs.
